Parsing Errors

One of the most important news websites in Switzerland (Neue Zürcher Zeitung). Works flawless with Freshrss and Readeck... Getting the full content has some special parts for NZZ.ch : Javascript must not be run (not sure if you anyway don't run it) Following CSS to show the text that your interpretation seems to be missing (NZZ seems to hide it for not logged in clients): .ssr .nzzinteraction { display: inherit; opacity: inherit; visibility: inherit; } .nzzinteraction { opacity: inherit; transition: inherit; } And some CSS to remove unnecessary parts: [componenttype="barrier"], .games-widget, #adnz_maxiboard_1, .header, .footer, .progressbar__wrapper, .sharebox, .pageelement__inner, [componenttype="moreToSubject"] { display: none; } If you add this to your parts => NZZ articles will be perfectly working again!

Articles saved with archive.is/archive.today are split at random punctuation marks in the middle of sentences, making it harder to read. See highlights in the attached screenshot as an example. Looks like hidden social links are causing it?

Articles from ft.com don’t have the top image in the article as their thumbnail and the author of the article isn’t recognised as author, as in, for an article in the FT’s film section, the author is labelled as ‘Film’ rather than the author who is included in the article.

I’ve found that videos saved on mobile with the m.youtube.com domain aren’t detected as duplicates of their youtube.com domain equivalent. Ideally some regex to remove the m. would be the best solution.

I try to save all ArXiv papers via the HTML view, when the HTML view seems legible enough. This mostly works great, and is often a better experience in Reader than the PDF version, but the math comes out pretty terrible. In general, the Reader-parsed version is just kind of worse, since the HTML view is designed to be super-readable already. I know that parsing is partly just to make highlights tractable, but I use the ArXiv HTML view enough that I figure I'd try to bring it to your attention. Ideally, there could be a special case for the math blocks, where as much formatting was preserved as possible?

Everything seems to be being parsed correctly from theguardian.com articles, such as domain and source (e.g. Culture | The Guardian), but thumbnails are still a generic Guardian logo, rather than the top image in the articles.

Roughly 20% of articles don't save correctly. When this happens, the original article will be several printed pages long whereas Reader captures only a few paragraphs in the middle.

Pictures and FAQs are always missing and sometimes inline article suggestions are also missing.
